ABOUT THE PORTRAIT PARTY HOST
The Host… That’s YOU! The Host has arranged to have Eddie Lain, a professional photographer, attend and perform photography and event services for their private event. These “services” may be combined with other vendors,  functions, and entertainment at the Host’s private event as long as those other services do not conflict with not prohibit the agreed services Eddie Lain has been contracted to provide. Ideas for combined vendors that would blend well with a Portrait Party might be but not limited to:  Hair & MakeUp Services; Onsite Spa Treatments such as Botox; Massage; Clothing & Jewelry Vendors; Musicians; Art & Artist Displays & Demonstrations; Book Signing Authors; Food & Beverage Caterers; Alcohol sampling vendors.

FEES
Booking Fee: A Reservation Deposit of $49 will be paid in advance to secure a calendar date with Eddie Lain.

Photo Session Fee: Each Guest will contribute $49* for their own Photo Session.
The PrePayment Fee will be $49 in full or they may choose to pay a $10 Deposit with the Balance Due at the event of $49.
The fee for Payment at the Event will be $59.
The Host's Photo Session fee is $49, unless they have 5 or more Guests who have paid in full for a PhotoSession, which is paid as an Event Deposit upon booking a Portrait Party. 

Event Deposit Refund: With 5 Guests or more reserving and paying for their Photo Session, the Host will be refunded their $49 Reservation Deposit plus receive a complimentary Photo Session.

THE LOCATION
The host of a Portrait Party may choose where they wish to hold their Portrait Party. It may be at their home, a home of a friend, or even at a commercial event venue, recreational park or other reasonable location of your choosing . The location must be within the San Diego County. If the location you wish to use is outside of San Diego County, a Travel Fee may be required to be paid.

 

PHOTO SESSIONS

Each Photo Session with each paying Guest will be booked at a minimum of 20 minute intervals (3 per hour), depending upon the quantity of paying Guests and the duration of the Host’s event. Each Guest will have a minimum of 15 minutes in front of the camera. The 5 minutes between Guests will allow for reset of the photo set, battery and equipment adjustments, and food/beverage/restroom breaks. 

 

WHAT YOUR GUESTS GET
• Photo Time: The Photographer will be available at the Host’s event for a minimum of 4 hours, inclusive of SetUp and tear down. Within the photo Sessions, each Guest with a Paid Reservation will receive a minimum of 15 minutes of time in front of the camera, receiving posing direction and opportunity to interact with props.
• Photo Quantity: Within the 15 minute PhotoSession period, the Photographer may take approximately 50 photos of the Guest. This quantity may vary depending upon a few factors, including but not limited to: punctuality of the Guest,  the photo modeling experience of the guest, or technical issues. Should the PhotoSession be interrupted or delayed by Technical Issues, The Photographer will offer the Guest will receive the balance of the approximately 50 photos in a subsequent photo session.
• Post Production Processing: The Photographer will review all final photos of each Guest and apply post-production Basic Photo Retouching to the Guest’s photos. This will include: lighting and color balance enhancements; skin smoothing where appropriate. Additional Photo Retouching will be made available to the Guest upon request for a fee for such things as: blemishes, deep wrinkles, body contouring, etc.

• Deliverables:

• Digital: All of the Basic Photo Retouched photos from Photo Session will be uploaded to a private secured album for the Guest to view and download to their desire. Due to the manual process of the post-production technique, the expected delivery date would be approximately within 2 weeks. All photos will include the Photographer’s discrete watermark.
• Additional Photo Retouching: The Guest may request additional Enhanced Photo Retouching beyond the Basic Retouching provided. These requests may require an additional fee for performance and will be quoted at the time of the request.

• Prints: High Resolution Photo Prints, Mounted Canvas Printings, Large Format Posters and other printed formats will be available for order thru the Photographer. Prices will be quoted upon request.

 

PORTRAIT PARTY THEMES
The Host may choose to incorporate a theme for their event and request that their guests arrive in costume according to the theme. This will add to the fun and uniqueness of the Photo experience. Please keep in mind when scheduling your event that your Guests may require more time to get ready for your event should they arriving in costume which may cause them to be late for their Photo Session.

TO RESERVE YOUR PHOTO SESSION TIME

The Host will maintain a Photo Session Schedule (see example form) which will list the Guest’s name, their Photo Session Time, and whether they have pre-paid or not. The Photographer will coordinate with The Host to keep their Guest on schedule.

HOW TO PAY

To reserve a Photo Session, contact the Party Host.
• To make a PrePayment: an online PayPal button can be made available. 

• To pay at the Event:  an onsite credit card or cash with receipt payment transaction can take place.
 

LATE ARRIVALS, WAITING LIST, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Late Arrivals: please be considerate of all other Guests who wish to have their Photo Session and arrive in advance of your appointed Photo Session. Should you be late but still before the end of your PhotoSession period, you will receive as many photos as can be reasonable for the time remaining within your session. Should you be late for your Session beyond the end time of the scheduled session, you may decide to postpone and go onto the Waiting List until an open slot becomes available.

Waiting List: The Host will maintain a Waiting List for Photo Sessions. Should the Guest count desiring a Photo Session exceed the number of available Photo Session Time Slots, each Guest may be put on a Waiting List and served in the order that they are on the List should a Time Slot become available. Payment will be due upon and prior to the Photo Session.

Cancellations & Refunds: No Cancellation for Refund less than 48 hours from event date. A credit may be made available from the Photographer that the Guest may use toward future photo services. Cancellations with Refund must be made prior to 48 hours from the event.

 

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER

• Eddie Lain is a photographer, cinematographer, producer, writer, entertainer and actor. 

• Eddie has provided photography services for clothing companies, modeling portfolios, product, real estate, travel industry, and various publications.

• Eddie has produced, hosted and emcee’d fashion shows, concerts, red carpet events, news interviews, and TV shows.

• Eddie has booked, managed stage talent and entertainment for night clubs and event venues for over 30 years including The Red Onion, The Hop, and Chillers.

• Eddie produced the brand ambassador modeling team known as the “Smokin’ Hot Vixens”.

• Eddie produced RockStar Magazine.
