The recent fires of Malibu California have ravaged homes and have left many homeless. Granny Moore and her granddaughter, Jane, and her two roommates, Cynthia and Rosa, are left homeless after their house burns down. Granny remains in the hospital from smoke inhalation and her prospects are not looking good.

 

The girls need to arrange temporary housing and move an RV on to the burned out lot. All of their clothes also went up in flames, so they resort to thrift shops and donated clothes rather than Gucci and Louis. Going from the Malibu rich lifestyle to a trailer-trash existence might be a bit much for the girls to embrace.
